Beeks Financial Cloud has opened a new sales channel for the company by joining a facility that was set up by Equinix. The low-latency network solutions provider that is focused on the trading industry is making the move to list its services on the Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric.
The Glasgow-headquartered technology provider led by Gordon McArthur has been continuously growing over the past few years. The in November last year with its focus on the financial industry as a cornerstone of its cloud services offering.
As part of the Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric, Beeks is opening a new distribution channel for its services. The datacenter-leader in the financial services industry, Equinix, has set up the gateway as a platform where sellers of cloud services can match with new buyers.
Competitive Landscape Demands
As demand for high-speed and security connectivity providers is intensifying, the move by Beeks opens a direct purchase channel which makes the product of the firm more widely available. The growing list of enterprise buyers via private connections aims to provide a more consistent user experience to the end client.
Additionally, the software-defined networking (SDN) capabilities of ECX Fabric enable Beeks to dynamically connect its own infrastructure across Equinix locations or connect to any other customer on the Equinix global platform, regardless of location. The cloud exchange platform supports 48 metros globally.
“The ability for our customers to quickly and securely connect to our services is a key element of our growth strategy,” explained the CEO of Beeks Financial Cloud, Gordon McArthur.
