AxiomSL On-Boards Harry Chopra, Focusing on Business Development in 2018

AxiomSL, a provider of regulatory reporting, data, and risk management solutions, has made its latest senior hire and first of the new year. The group has appointed Harry Chopra as its newest Chief Client Officer, who will step into the role with immediate effect, focusing on AxiomSL’s global business development efforts. He will be based out of New York.

AxiomSL had spent much of 2017 emphasizing its global business development efforts. This included the in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region as well as several in the trade reporting space ahead of MiFID II’s implementation this week.

In his new role, Mr. Chopra will take the reins of the unit, looking to foster go-to-market strategies while driving worldwide client-driven growth. Alex Tsigutkin, founder and CEO of AxiomSL, commented on the appointment: “I am delighted to welcome Harry to the AxiomSL team.”

Mr. Chopra is no stranger to the industry, having worked for over three decades in the financial services industry with an emphasis on sales. This has included a number of stints in the financial sector, including roles as the Chief Commercial Officer at Credit Benchmark. In this capacity made innovative inroads into the group’s consensus credit capabilities, working with regional and global banks.

“Harry comes with a remarkable financial services background and will oversee an important client-facing role globally. Along with his proven leadership skills and track record of financial success, Harry will play a fundamental role in achieving our growth targets and implementing AxiomSL’s go-to-market strategies. We are excited to have him join, as a key part of our management team to help fuel our long-term expansion,” Mr. Tsigutkin added.

Prior to his role at Credit Benchmark, Mr. Chopra also worked as the Head of Sales and Client Services for S&P Capital IQ. Additional roles include senior positions at Citigroup Asset Management as the Head of International Retail Distribution and the Head of Institutional Marketing.
