Global Alternatives, an operator of marketplaces for alternative investments, has on-boarded Brendan Bradley as its newest Non-Executive Chairman, who joins the group from Eurex, according to a company statement.
Mr. Bradley’s appointment comes ahead of an important period for Global Alternatives, which is slated to launch its new cross-border property trading exchange, Prop-X. Mr. Bradley joins Global Alternatives having worked at a number of financial services groups, serving in several senior roles.
He currently works as an Advisory Board Member of the Hub Exchange and RISE Financial Technologies. Previously he has also held board positions at Digital Vega FX, GMEX, and Deutsche Borse Asia Holdings, among others.
Moreover, he has worked at Eurex as its Global Head of Innovation and Product Strategy, among other roles at the group, dating back to 2006, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
According to Mr. Bradley in a statement on his appointment: “Crowdfunding platforms have mushroomed as investors seek higher returns. Global Alternatives’ approach to institutional grade secured lending, with segregated client funds and securities held with independent custodians, is a refreshing race to the top rather than the bottom in terms of credibility.”
“Brendan has worked in the financial markets space for 30 years and has been at the forefront of new product development, technology and market structure changes,” reiterated Rohin Modasia, founder and CEO of Global Alternatives.
