GreenKey Technologies, a trading-centric voice software provider, has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), installing Nader Shwayhat to the new role, who succeeds Paul Christensen with immediate effect.
Mr. Shwayhat has over fifteen years of experience in the fintech realm, including a number of senior level roles at leading venues. In this capacity he will be based out of New York, having worked with GreenKey as a strategic advisor since November 2016.
Prior to joining GreekKey, Mr. Shwayhat co-founded Pivot, Inc., a start-up focused on instant messaging for financial markets. During his career he has also served in several commercial and executive roles, also working at CME Group.
His most recent role included a stint as the Global Head of Sales and Business Development for Novus Partners, a portfolio intelligence company catering to institutional investors and asset managers.
According to Anthony Tassone, GreenKey founder and Chief Product Officer, in a statement on the appointment: “I’m very excited that Nader has joined GreenKey as our CEO. His domain expertise and executive leadership within capital markets position him perfectly to lead our firm through our next chapter of exciting growth and execution. We are confident that he will infuse GreenKey with the same enthusiasm and commercial focus that he has throughout his impressive career.”
“Having participated in the evolution of Unified Communications over the last decade, it’s clear that advanced voice interfaces and AI-driven speech recognition represent the next wave of innovation on trading floors. GreenKey is challenging the entire notion of financial phone, turret and transcription services, and I’m thrilled to help bring our disruptive products to the entire industry,” added Mr. Shwayhat.
