Continuing the theme of sponsoring high profile football stars, especially of high caliber, Russian forex broker Libertex (formerly Forex Club) has inked a sponsorship deal with James Rodriguez, the £63 million Real Madrid midfielder and the Colombia national football team’s captain.
Neither the full financial terms nor the duration of the deal have been disclosed, but under its terms the Colombian international will become the brand ambassador for Libertex. Libertex will definitely use the partnership to raise global awareness of its online CFD trading services and increase mainstream use of its trading platform. The campaign’s motto, “Play with the best, trade with the best”, may reflect the nature of this deal.
The partnership is not the first of its kind in the industry, as other high profile football stars have represented retail trading companies in the past. Earlier in March, XTrade as its official ambassador.
Libertex, which stands for Liberty Exchange, is a simple investment platform – the terminal gives one access to the most popular financial instruments via single application that works on all types of desktop and mobile devices.
