Aetos Partners with Western Sydney Wanderers for 2017 AFC Champions League

AETOS Capital Group, a Sydney-based provider of FX and contracts for difference (CFDs), has announced that Western Sydney Wanderers will be their official partner in the 2017 AFC Champions League.

AETOS has a major presence in Asia Pacific and a growing global presence with offices around the world including London, UK and Shanghai, China.

Finance Magnates last reported on the brokerage after its UK arm to its offerings earlier this year, allowing traders to follow algorithmically ranked experts and translate their trading signals into real time trade executions.

Passionate Football Fans

As the club’s partner, AETOS will be supporting the club through its 2017 campaign and will see the broker’s branding on the front of their AFC Champions League jerseys.

AETOS chose to align with the 2014 Asian Champions as it is has acknowledged that its customers are passionate football fans.

Western Sydney Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas said: “We are delighted to welcome AETOS Capital Group to the Western Sydney Wanderers and we look forward to seeing them on the front of our 2017 AFC Champions League jersey”.

He added: “With the way that both AETOS and the Wanderers have grown and succeeded in Asia, there are parallels between our two organisations that make us proud to announce this partnership.”

Also commenting on the partnership deal, Mike Thomas, Senior Vice President Councillor of AETOS, said: “As a renowned Australian Forex broker and CFD provider AETOS is delighted to be the official partner of Western Sydney Wanderers FC for the AFC Champions League 2017 campaign. In just four years, Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club has already created history.”

League Champions

Formed in 2012, the club’s record-breaking inaugural season won them the A-League premiership and saw the club reach the 2013 A-League Grand Final. The club also reached two further Grand Finals and its 2014 AFC Champions League success has been outstanding.

AETOS shares a similar growth path as the Wanderers, as both parties have experienced high-speed growth in the past few years. Working with the team will have a positive impact on the Asia Pacific market and is expected to win a broader client base for both parties.
