The online binary options brokerage, operated under the OptionRally brand, today announced that it has become an official partner of Scuderia Ferrari in the Formula 1, according to an update on the broker’s website.
The Scuderia Ferrari team was described in the update from OptionRally as being the most successful in Formula 1 history, with over 225 Grand Prix Race wins, 16 Constructor World titles, and 15 Drivers’ World titles. Now OptionRally has become an official partner, according to the new announcement.
New Head of Sales
In addition, Finance Magnates has learned that Andrew Savvides, formerly Head of Global Sales and Business Development for FX Primus, has joined OptionRally to take on a new role as Group Head of Sales with the company after he departed from his last position with FX Primus at the end of February. His new role with OptionRally commenced on April 25th 2016, at the start of last week.
Commenting in the company’s press release regarding the sponsorship, an OptionRally spokesperson said: “We are delighted to be partnering with such a passionate, historic and competitive Formula 1 team. It made perfect sense as the leading binary brokerage to join forces with the most successful and trusted team in the world, Scuderia Ferrari.”

Finance Magnates reached out to Mr. Savvides around the time of publication regarding the sponsorship news and his new position at the firm. He explained that he is now Group Head of Sales at OptionRally, and said regarding the new sponsorship, in response to questions posed about when his firm would be added to the team’s website: “It is currently in the process to be added to their list of partners on this site, due to the large partnership agreement and how proud we are to officially announce it we wanted to get on our website as soon as possible. With the Russia Grand Prix kicking off on 1st May it was a heavy schedule to fit in with our launch. All we were looking for was a strong start and finish for Scuderia Ferrari F1 Team and everyone associated. We look forward to the next race in Spain.”
