UK-based online multi-asset broker ETX Capital today announced the appointment of Arman Tahmassebi as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), according to an official company press release.
Mr. Tahmassebi departs London Capital Group where he had also served as COO for over a year, according to a LinkedIn profile description. He held numerous positions across a number of FX brokerages, including at IG Markets as Global Head of Operations.

Regarding his new role at the company, Mr. Tahmassebi commented in the announcement: “I am very excited about joining ETX Capital, a fast growing, dynamic and technology orientated company and I am looking forward to playing a key role in its next stage of development.”
Commenting regarding the appointment in the press release, ETX Capital CEO Andrew Edwards said: “We are very pleased to have Arman joining the team. He brings a wealth of industry experience to ETX Capital, having previously spent over 14 years at IG Group in a number of operational and strategic roles including Head of Global Operations. Arman also spent a year at London Capital Group where he was Chief Operating Officer.”
ETX Capital Executive Chairman John Wilson also commented in the press release: “The Company has grown substantially over the last several years to become a global provider of on-line trading services and as such requires a strong and capable executive team. Arman brings a depth and breadth of knowledge that will complement the existing team and allow the company to benefit from the opportunities that exist in the market.”
