ThinkForex Alters Leverage Ratio
ThinkForex, a provider of foreign exchange (FX) and contracts-for-difference (CFDs), has made a series of changes to the leverage of select trading instruments.
Per market conditions and volatility, ThinkForex has opted to alter the leverage ratio for its CFD Futures, which is effective immediately. The ratio change will affect all CFD futures, including both indices and energy contracts, and will change to a maximum of 25:1 leverage – this will be in effect for all new and existing positions. Existing cash CFD positions will be unaffected by the move however.
Darwinex Ravamps MT4 Platform with New Changes
Darwinex is presently in the process of changing its existing MT4 infrastructure to cater to the new atmosphere provided by its foray into the Equinix LD4 datacenter. The broker is eying a newly revamped MT4 environment that will institute a number of alterations.
A comprehensive timezone change to the Eastern Standard Time (NY) close, which will result in only five daily candles a week. Moreover, Darwinex has augmented the scope of its history data for backtesting purposes. Finally, an expanded list of indices and commodities will be tradable on its MT4 platform.
AMF Unveils New Warning List
L’Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) has updated its list of unauthorized websites offering of binary options trading in France from a previous list that was published back on September 2, 2015.

OANDA Undergoes Precious Metal Trading Hour Halt
OANDA has updated its trading hours for all its precious metals, including gold (XAU), silver (XAG), palladium (XPD/USD), and platinum (XPT/USD). The changes have come as a result of an extension of the maintenance window by its liquidity partners.
Consequently, a normal trading halt from 22:14 to 23:00GMT has been extended and will now begin at 21:59 until 23:00 GMT.
