Camilla Sutton has been elevated to the role of Global Head of FX at Scotiabank, having succeeded Brendan Luxton who vacated the role and parted ways with the lender.
In her new role as Scotiabank’s global head of FX, Ms. Sutton will be reporting to Kevin Felix, the bank’s Managing Director and Global Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC). Despite her promotion, she will continue to be based out of Toronto, according to a recent report on FXweek.
Prior to her promotion, Ms. Sutton worked as the Chief FX Strategist and Managing Director within Global Banking and Markets. Before joining Scotiabank she held a number of roles at OMERS, BMO Capital Markets, and TD Securities, dating back to 1996.
