Eze Software Group, a provider of global investment technology, has undergone a series of upgrades to its commission management offering, according to an Eze Software Group statement.
The provider’s newly launched web-based tool, Broker Review, caters specifically to buy-side firms, allowing for the streamlined evaluation of their respective brokers. The primary impetus behind Broker Review is the consolidation and augmented utility behind the evaluation tools at a buy-side firm’s disposal.
In particular, Broker Review allows buy-side firms to configure its broker vote, granting access via the firm’s stakeholders to ultimately undergo an inquest into their brokers on such attributes as execution, research and investment ideas.
According to Rob Keller, CFA, Executive Managing Director of Product Management and Development for Eze Software Group, in a recent statement on the launch, “We’ve been a leader in commission management technology for years, and the recent regulatory changes in the U.K., combined with investor demand from other regions in the world, are generating a renewed interest in our capabilities.”
“These recent moves strengthen our combined offering and position us to continue to build a more comprehensive and robust solution for our clients,” he noted.
Broker Review is the latest integral component in Eze Software’s Cloud platform. “In 2015 we are ramping up development efforts even further on the platform, and we look forward to bringing our clients more cloud-based tools and features,” Keller added.
The launch follows after the group’s recent acquisition of two commission management products, Broker Select and RECAP, from Financial Sockets – the deal closed December 31, 2014. Broker Select is a global web-based evaluation system for brokers and research providers, while RECAP is a research and execution cost analysis platform that addresses mandates in reporting commission utilization.
