BNP Paribas has a crucial vacancy to fill, following the departure of Tim Edwards, the French banking giant’s longtime Head of Electronic Markets for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
A little over one month ago, BNP Paribas Investment Partners, an asset management affiliate of BNP Paribas SA, , along with a trio of senior portfolio managers to serve his team.
Before leaving, Mr. Edwards had been a mainstay in the APAC region at BNP Paribas since 2011, when he assumed the role of head of electronic markets. In addition, he also held the position of global head of electronic client solutions group at BNP Paribas since early 2010.
Prior to joining BNP in 2010, Mr. Edwards established himself in a number of executive level roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). These positions included, among others manager of electronic markets client services – APAC, and European e-distribution.
At this juncture it is presently unknown where Mr. Edwards will land. Forex Magnates reached out to Mr. Edwards who was unavailable for comment.
