David Pennell Lands at Nomura as Executive Director, Emerging Markets

Nomura has appointed ex-JPMorgan veteran David Pennell as its newest executive director and emerging markets options (EM) trader, following a nearly one-year hiatus from the industry.

In his new role as the executive director and EM options trader, Mr. Pennell will be based out of London, where he will be reporting to Nigel Khakoo, Nomura’s managing director and global head of FX trading.

Prior to joining Nomura, Mr. Pennell worked at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), a position he relinquished in July – before this he also had experience at JPMorgan and RBC Capital Markets.
