BitPay struck while the iron was hot after a series of tweets, starting with Marc Andreessen tweeting interest in donating to library, “open when the schools are closed.” From there, Tom Kysar of Koinify replied that he wants 100% of donations going to the library, without fees shaved off by credit card companies such as MasterCard. The library inquired how this can be set up, after which BitPay offered its assistance.
