, the British subsidiary of its namesake Japanese forex broker, has announced the unveiling of the mobile version of their proprietary platform Lion Binary Options. With only four of the main currency pairs available for trading in high/low options, this seems to be a trial run for the company in a still very promising market.
The binary options trading app can be downloaded from Google Play by Android users. The minimum investment amount is unusually low – the threshold for making a trade is only one dollar. The application is cleanly designed, with the company’s blue and red colors filling up the screen real estate. Options are available with 5, 10 and 60 minute expiries with a buy-me-out function that is active almost until the end of the respective period.
With this addition, Hirose UK hopes to gain new market share and increase the screen time of their current users. The company also launched a bonus campaign to complement this unrolling and drive user traffic to the new offering.
The company entered the binary options market earlier this year and has steadily developed its product, closely following developments in the regulatory framework. Recent discussions by the UK government are likely to lead to some changes in the regulation of binary options in country, with the debate about gaming or taking center stage.
