Swedish Watchdog Follows British Warning against DuPont FX Clone Scam

The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority () has published a public statement in order to warn investors against dealing with an unauthorised firm. “Representatives from DuPont Financial/DuPont FX/DP Global Services Ltd (clone of authorised firm) are using the details of an authorised firm to try to convince people that they work for a genuine, authorised firm.”

The Swedish authority explained to its countrymen that this is called a ‘‘ and fraudsters usually use this tactic when contacting people and offer them investment services. Reportedly, representatives from DuPont Financial/DuPont FX/DP Global Services Ltd have contacted Swedish investors and offered them trading in financial investments.

The watchdog noted that there is no connection whatsoever between the legitimate DuPont company and the unauthorised DuPont Financial/DuPont FX/DP Global Services Ltd entity that is operating in the United Kingdom.

Just two weeks ago, the British Financial Conduct Authority () issued a warning against the same DuPont Financial/ DuPont FX/ DP Global Services Ltd. The fraudsters were allegedly cold calling people in the UK, trying to convince their targets that they represented a genuine, regulated firm.
