World leading card firm MasterCard has completed its acquisition of Australian loyalty and rewards service provider Pinpoint.
Pinpoint, founded in 1984, is the leading provider of loyalty and reward schemes for the Asia Pacific region. Pinpoint offers a bevy of loyalty services ranging from benefit programs, redemption services and rewards programs.

Pinpoint’s deep experience in loyalty and rewards, coupled with MasterCard’s vast network and capabilities, will position the company strongly to grow customer relationships with exciting and innovative programs,” Kim Harding, Founder of Pinpoint stated.
The purchase will strengthen MasterCard’s currently offered loyalty and reward programs. MasterCard is committed to providing best in class services to its cardholders, supporting merchants, and authorized card issuers, particularly in the Asia Pacific region.

No details about the agreement beyond the closure of the acquisition were provided by either MasterCard or Pinpoint. Financial details such as price, terms, and the future of Pinpoint are currently undisclosed.
