Texas based social casino developer, Bee Cave Games, has announced that they are entering the real money gaming industry by partnering with UK commission licensed Betable.
The company’s new real money offering will be made available in the UK by the end of the year. Bee Cave Games will be offering real money counterparts of their already existing social casino blackjack games with their new series of slots to be made available in a number of weeks after the initial launch.
Bee Cave COO Jeremy Strauser, who formally served as General Manager of Zynga Poker, stated that the games that will be offered have been certified by to assure that they are up to code for the real money offering.
The shift from play money strategies with social gaming experience may prove to be an interesting offer in the real money market, with emphasis on gameplay and user experience being one of Bee Cave Games’ strong suits.
“The quality of experience that Bee Cave Games brings to its players is extraordinarily high and we are thrilled to enable them to offer real-money play within Blackjack Casino. Developers like Bee Cave are raising the bar for real-money gameplay.” Christopher Griffin, CEO of Digital Chocolate, who also is one of Betable’s partners, stated on the new addition to the UK gaming market.
Converting social platforms for real money markets may be an interesting addition to the online gaming industry. We will have to see if other game developers follow suit, and offer their social oriented platforms to the actual gambling market
